Cognitive Hypnotherapy

Cognitive Hypnotherapy

I first discovered the power of the unconscious mind at the age of 14 when my mother took me to a hypnotherapist for help with confidence issues. I was taught self-hypnosis and, for the next 20 years, used this powerful tool to help me navigate the ups and downs of life. In 2006 I decided to make hypnotherapy my profession and, after a few false starts, trained with Trevor Silvester at The Quest Institute.

I am experienced in the area of Hypnotherapy for Confidence and Self Esteem. This means I can help with a variety of issues and goals, including Fear of Public Speaking, Healing Trauma, and Anxiety Stress and Panic Attacks.

I have a specialist interest in the area of Hypnotherapy for Addictions. Whether it’s a substance addiction to Alcohol, Cocaine, or Cannabis, or a process addiction to Sex, Gambling, or Pornography, I can probably help. Once addictive patterns become more conscious they no longer have the power to control our thoughts and actions and, in most cases, fall away by themselves.

In the cases of more ingrained patterns, like Food Addiction or Co-Dependent Relationship, I use hypnotherapy to help my clients maintain a clear dignity of process, whilst making positive change.

I offer Personalised Hypnotherapy MP3s for listening between appointments. These recordings help integrate the work done in sessions and are an essential part of the change process.

I am a registered member of the QCHPA and the National Council for Hypnotherapy. The training I received with Trevor Silvester at The Quest Institute remains at the heart of all that I do. For more information about Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy, please click here.
